A Humane Human (a poem)

A Humane Human by David A. Church

To be a rightful human
One must take an interest
In the pallet of humour
That promotes humanity;
The resources required
To be humble and humane.

To be a rightful human
One must take an interest
In all the humid settings,
That the homogenous souls
Stay humongous, not hummus
With dead humoural sayings
About the natural order
And humphs of hues in contrasts.

To be high like a hummingbird,
A humdinger, humming without
The humping humiliation
Or the humdrum of disturbance;
From humanoids of distraction
Working on humorist hummings.
